The Key West Food and Wine Festival is a series of wine and food themed events, showcasing a diverse range of wines and inventive cuisine, hosted by their passionate creators at iconic island locations.
The festival hosts over 30 unique events, including waterfront and beachside tastings, winemaker/chef collaborations, neighborhood strolls, tropical garden tours, and local, funky gatherings that present an authentic taste of Key West, Florida.
Key West is the place to be in January 2018! The festival attracts thousands of culinary explorers from around the country every year, who descend on the tropical island to escape the winter and delight their senses. This coming January, the 9th annual celebration will feature spectacular views, decadent award-winning chef creations, wine tastings, live entertainment, and fun for all.
The festival will officially kick off on Wednesday, January 24th, with Henry Flagler’s Welcome Party. Held at the Casa Marina (a Waldorf Astoria Resort), this 21-and-up event will showcase a night of “unbridled indulgence,” filled with entertainment by the Fabulous Spectrelles, along with domestic and international tastings by top wine producers, and delicious creations by Chef Alex Beaumont.
Additional festival highlights include the Sunset Grand Tasting at Margaritaville Resort & Marina, hosted by Celebrity Cruises (Friday, January 26th), and OLD TOWN “Uncorked” in historic Key West (Saturday, January 27th). The final event, Spaghetti in Spiaggia con il Vino VI, is a family-style beachside lunch that takes place on Sunday, January 28th. Hosted by Castello Banfi Vintners and Castello Banfi Ambassador, Luciano Castiello, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to Italy for the afternoon.
