The elder statesman of local craft breweries is Davidson Brothers Brew Pub in downtown Glens Falls. Established in 1996 by two brothers, the company has expanded and now offers a tour experience. Enjoy a sit down meal and local beer, or a family friendly tour.

Adirondack Pub and Brewery in Lake George is another longtime source for excellent beer. Look for playful names and labels on their bottled beer, including the summer launch of Tangerine Summer Dream, which is rumored to be spectacular. The Pub is a true Adirondack experience, serving 20+ beers made with the water of Lake George

Cooper’s Cave Ale Company, a local favorite, takes its name from the legendary cave in James Fenimore Cooper’s Last of the Mohicans. CCAC is an exceptional brewery and restaurant, with local charm & hospitality and a popular destination nestled on a delightful bike path.

Mean Max Brew Works, also in Glens Falls is one of the newest breweries to launch, billed as a farm brewery and tasting room. Their space is beautiful and the drink menu boasts a range of different beers named after local destinations.

To satisfy a different palate, the Adirondack Winery offers 30+ wines in their Lake George Tasting Room. Their artfully crafted wines have been so popular that they have expanded their production capacity with an additional winemaking facility. This family-owned, locally focused winery is worth a toast.
